These bangles are made from caña flecha a tall tropical grass belonging to the order of Poaceae, that grows up to five meters long.
Once washed, cut into thin strips, dried and dyed, the fiber of the leaves is then woven around a plastic band.
This pre-columbian tradition is kept alive by the Zenú Indians, from Cilombia, in the Córdoba department.
Looks great worn with the recycled flip flop bangles.
